After 14 years as a Lufthansa pilot, Moritz decided to take a new path and reshape the world of work with uniworks. Between 2020 and 2024 he studied at LMU Munich and Accadis University of Applied Sciences in Bad Homburg, earning his MBA in Management & Leadership.
Amelie studied business psychology and gained experience in strategy consulting. Her master's in Consumer Science brought her to Munich — and with it to uniworks. She works alongside Moritz on both operations and strategy.
Armin steers the day-to-day operations and the long-term direction of uniworks. He makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while constantly setting new impulses to take the company and our processes to the next level.
Kanghyun studies computer science at LMU Munich and brings his technical know-how to uniworks. His focus is on the backend, but he also drives his own projects and keeps developing new ideas.
Ulvi completed his bachelor's in media informatics and has built his own branding and a strong online presence. He supports us with creative decisions as well as web and app development.
A trained hotel specialist with more than ten years of experience in temporary staffing, Dan leads our Frankfurt and Rhine-Main location for events and hospitality. From event planning and coordination to client support, staff scheduling and people development — everything in the region comes together in her hands.
As project manager for the greater Frankfurt area, the Rhine-Ruhr region and Hamburg, Phil looks after our clients in the region and handles scheduling and recruiting. He unfortunately wasn't in Munich for the photo shoot. ;)
Bine diligently handles the registration and deregistration of our uniworkers as well as payroll.
Enci studies law at LMU Munich and has gained experience at international law firms. At uniworks he takes care of all legal matters around dispute resolution and compliance, making sure the company grows on a solid legal foundation.
Alongside her studies, Marie supports operational tasks such as scheduling and our Instagram account.
Alongside her Finance & Management studies, Ellen supports operational tasks and is reachable every day for all uniworkers with any questions.
Greta is studying International Business in the Netherlands and supports us on the side across a wide range of areas — from conducting interviews to communicating with our customers and keeping day-to-day operations running.
Thommy studies Management & Technology at TU Munich and gained valuable HR insights through various roles in management consulting. He's responsible for everything around people and leads the interviews with all applicants — happily in Italian or English too. :)
As an interface design student at FH Potsdam, Emil brings the creative input to uniworks and looks after projects like the uniworks app and our website. Being close to the capital, he also runs our projects in Berlin.
After two semesters of engineering at ETH Zurich, David decided to study business administration at LMU. His passion for tech and IT sparked the idea for the uniworks app. Today he leads everything technical and keeps our systems running.
Simon started out as a stagehand at uniworks while he was still studying. Today he trains our stagehands and supports projects all across Germany. Thanks to his many years of experience, he knows first-hand what events require and backs up our teams with hands-on expertise.
Alongside her economics studies, Alina supports the onboarding of new uniworkers and, together with Thommy, leads the introductory interviews with new applicants.
Keanu conducts the introductory interviews with our applicants and guides them through the entire application process.
Lilli gets to know our applicants in the interviews and makes sure they get off to a smooth start at uniworks.
Anna interviews new applicants and supports the onboarding of new uniworkers.
Sirith conducts introductory interviews with our applicants and helps them settle into the uniworks world.
The idea of bringing students and businesses together grew out of first-hand experience: Moritz, Thommy, David & Stefan founded the company while still studying themselves. They noticed how few options students had to gain flexible, hands-on experience during their studies while also being paid fairly. At the same time, Moritz's experience as an entrepreneur showed just how hard it can be to find qualified workers for your own business.
That realization became a vision that is reality today: students and businesses benefit equally from a flexible model. On one side, attractive pay and a job that fits perfectly around studying. On the other, access to a large talent pool that makes the perfect hire possible for any open role.
